Is proQ an official government platform?
No. proQ is an independent platform and is not affiliated with the National Treasury, PPRA, or any procuring entity. We help you discover and prepare, then link you to the official documents.
Where do the tender notices come from?
From the tender notices published on the government procurement portal (PPIP) by ministries, county governments, NG-CDF offices, parastatals, universities, schools, hospitals and other public entities. We refresh them daily.
Do tenders show a budget?
Most public notices do not publish a budget or estimated value, so proQ does not show one. We only show information we can source, and mark the rest as undisclosed.
How are estimated BOQ templates made?
They are category-based planning templates to help you organise likely items. They are not extracted from a tender’s documents and must never replace the official BOQ or specifications.
How do alerts work?
Choose your sectors and counties and you receive a daily digest of matching new tenders by email. WhatsApp and SMS delivery are coming soon.
Can I pay with M-Pesa?
Yes. Checkout supports M-Pesa, card and mobile money through Paystack’s secure hosted checkout. We never see your card or PIN.
How long does a paid plan last?
A weekly pass gives 7 days of paid access, monthly gives 30 days and annual gives 365 days, from the day you pay. Renewals add to any time you have left.
What is AGPO?
AGPO refers to procurement opportunities reserved for businesses owned by Youth, Women and Persons with Disabilities. proQ lets you filter notices by these reservation categories.
How is the match score calculated?
It compares a tender with the sectors, counties, entity types and AGPO status in your business profile, and shows the reasons. It is decision support, not a guarantee of eligibility or award.
